| I LOVE San Antonio!! The River Walk is still there with all its glory - lots more sidewalk restaurants. You can walk for miles but beware of stumbling drunks! The river doesn't smell very clean anymore, but late at night, you can usually catch at least one drunk peeing or puking in it - so it's no wonder. Not far from the riverwalk are all kinds of local shops. Some gifty type stuff and some western stuff. It's just a great city full of history. Driving there is no picnic - too many streets with more than one name!
