We went last year. It was the best trip we'd taken in a long time. Take one day to tour all of the missions. There is a Mission Trail you follow - in your car, not on foot. Then take a day to do everything that is along the River Walk. If going to Sea World, check the internet right before you leave. We didn't & it was closed the day we had packed up to be there all day. Yeah, bad planning on our part. There is a lot of history in that area, if you like that sort of thing. We ran out of time trying to go & see all of the history. There are also some great historic towns on the way there that you may want to spend a day visiting. Fredericksberg (sic) comes to mind. It's a beautiful town that was started by a group of Germans. We went to SA for a week & just didn't have enough time for everything. We've talked about going back some time.
