Well. I use my personal cell phone for corporate use and charge them for it if I go over the minutes, simply because it would be too damned hard to keep track of two. But it's pretty hard to go over the allotted minutes with the plan I have. Maybe the city of Grand Island ought to look into their cell contract. Sprint came out with an unlimited plan for $100 a month. Not a bad deal for hubby, who's on the phone 24-7 it seems like. I don't go over my minutes often, so it wouldn't have saved me anything. Nor would it have saved anything to have us both on his plan, as they charge more to do that than for me on my other plan.

I think it's a cost of doing business, but the city shouldn't be paying for personal calls. Hubby just takes his, marks the business calls on the statement and puts them on his expense report. So would I if I ever exceeded my minutes.
