I still don't think Obama is any worse a choice than what is being offered. Can anyone actually say that his speech wasn't truthful? I was feeling like perhaps I had misjudged him with all the news lately. I believe the man himself I did not misjudge and his priorities are not misjudged. He is just as much a patriot as any of the others - PLUS he can tackle the tough topics.

I am still processing his speech but he still has my support for now and I'm not regretting my vote. Course McCain still has my son's support. Barack's speech didn't do much for anyone whose mind is not willing or ready to look at "human" issues - like race. All the issues are important but this one I found to be quite an insight to the man. I like a candidate that challenges us to things we aren't comfortable with.

I don't know if he'll still have my vote come November - I hope he does but we will have to wait and see. There is nothing wrong with having hope and wanting to believe in something better than what we normally have.
