The Toyota factory in San Antonio would be the most southerly of any American auto plant, posing some potential logistical challenges for the company, which relies on just-in-time delivery of components and keeps little inventory on hand at its factories. But Toyota officials said they could supply the plant from both the United States and Mexico, where a number of auto parts suppliers have factories.
