| I think it was last year after KSU hired Huggins that he was asked about poor graduation rates at Cincinnati. I really liked his response. It was something to the effect of asking why a person goes to college. A person goes to college to get a job. The years when he had such low graduation rates, most of those players had jobs playing basketball in the NBA or overseas. I don't know exactly how they calculate the graduation rates, but I think I remember kids leaving early and Juco transfers differently. I imagine if Walker, Beasley, Rush, and Arthur leave college early then it will probably count against the graduation rate. But you know what? They went to college and will be coming away with pretty high paying jobs. |
