Right on Bubba...clean yes...Cheap and reliable NO....

One of the main reasons for wind power is to offset the coal plants and to make groups like the Sierra Club happy. For every megawatt of electricity a coal plant produces x% has to be "clean energy" so they build wind mills to offset it. I believe it actually costs more to build them because they do not produce as cheap electricity as coal. In the long run wind energy costs us more I would say but it makes aLgOre happy.
