I guess you don't know then that Penney's and Sears both were downtown at one time. We didn't have a Maurice's at that time. Woolworth had a decent-sized store in the Mall, too. They were once downtown. I think the thing that drove Penney's into the mall was the lack of space in the store they were in. Anybody remember Eckles?
