Didn't Bush campaign for SS reform by privatizing it...and wasn't it killed by the Dems?

The problem with the Texas plan going national is that eventually you would have a majority of working Americans going into retirement without depending on the federal gov't to take care of them. When the federal gov't loses that power and money...well that doesn't sit well with them. The Dem voting base is partially made up of people that depend on the gov't to take care of them...they will not give this up easily despite privitization being a better option than taxing people out of existence....

You think SS is bad now...wait until the BO/Clinton connection start paying SS to illegals....Wonder how that will work?
