Yesterday I went to pick up my lunch & used my check card to pay. The clerk tells me that my card is expired. I point to the date on the front(09). He says it wont go through. The man in line behind me says he's the manager at True Value & all the cards from my bank have been having the same problem. I tell the clerk i'm sorry I dont carry cash any cash & go to leave. The man in line behind steps up & pays for my lunch. I was quite surprised. Thanked him & got his name so I can repay him. It's great to know there are still decent people around!!
