I respectively disagree. The coach has something to do with a program becoming elite but elite to ME means that you have a long history of winning. You can't build a tradition in a couple of years having a good coach. If Roy Williams went to Baylor that wouldn't qualify Baylor as one of the college elite programs. Elite to me means you have a tradition/habit of winning, you can get recruits based on who you are and you probably have a good coach. Again...I believe these are the historically elite programs...

Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke and UCLA....there are a couple more that an argument could be made for but if you are coaching at one of these schools name one school a person would want to leave one of these schools to go coach at?
