HUH??? Have you every been in an M1A1 tank? It's NOTHING BUT armor. W sending our troops over with no armor is a very slanted statement that is misleading. YOu sound like a MSNBC mouthpiece. Most of the soldiers had protective vests and such but they have better one's now. Not all soldiers had the newest and best of everything but it's always been that way. In the military you make due with what you have. (note Valley Forge where men marched through snow with rags around their feet)

You are right....as a civilian you or anyone else doesn't need to know EVERYTHING the gov't does. We elect leaders to ensure our life and liberty. I don't really care how it happens as long as it happens. There are things that happen in the middle of the night that we will never know about nor do we need to know about. It's better that way because those people make decisions that a lot of civilians wouldn't understand.
