| CBS Evening news (I know, Katie Couric, but this news item is good) has been running a series on "Illegal Immigration". Tonite, they told how many women are sneaking across the border to have their kids "Free" in the US, so that they can be US citizens and eventually sponsor their parents. Costing one hospital in Texas over 200 million dollars a year in unpaid health care. Estimates are in the billions, cost to taxpayers for free health care. They said, quote, "Many women enter the hospital still wet, from swimming across the Rio Grande"! Since US law does not allow hospitals to check "Citizen" credentials, the hospital is required to treat them for free! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ |
