I think you might be thinking of the Harley Davidson's from 1967-1981 when they were owned by AMF. During that time the motorcycles weren't very good at all. Today's H-D's are all fine quality American craftsmanship. |
They may be assembled in America but the parts get there in boxes.
I don't like them because they aren't comfortable. They are poorly engineered making them difficult to maintain and work on.
And if there's a corner coming up, well you have to slow down to take it.
But if you enjoy it I say have a good time with it. Just don't try to sell me one.
