It’s a little thing called……..oh, what the hell is it…..disciple…..no, that’s a Jesus thing. Um……disco…no, that’s a dead 70’s gay music thing. Oh, I know…..discipline. Yeah, that little thing that shows you have the will power and fortitude to follow the rules. I could give a rats ass if someone wants to smoke pot. If you ask me if it should be illegal or if it makes them a bad person I will tell you no. Now, ask me if it is illegal and I will tell you yes. Ask me if you should get in trouble for doing it if you are told not to, the answer again is yes. Just because you do not like a rule doesn’t give you cart blanche to disobey it then not pay the price for it. The same “it’s not that bad” attitude is why kids get away with calling teachers names in school and other things. If the rules are not to be enforced, then why have them? Obviously, if he did do this, then to him smoking pot is more important than playing football. Getting high is more important to him than being a member of the team that needs him. Just another self-centered “it’s all about me” diva with the self discipline of a slug getting a free education on our dime because he can catch a football but can’t catch a clue. If Mangino knew about this, like Talib reportedly said he did, and let it go…….then all the good coaching he has done aint worth a ball of green mucus in my book.
