'The Sebelius road show was in full force this week as the Governor decided to take a spring break trip to the south on the backs of Kansas taxpayers.
First, she spent the weekend in San Antonio watching the Jayhawks win the National Basketball Championship. Heck, for all her hard work she even got a piece of a Final Four net!
On Thursday and Friday, while the rest of Kansas was hard at work, she enjoyed some time in North Carolina campaigning for Barack Obama. We should remind you that previously, Sebelius had stated that her campaigning for Obama was “mostly on weekends.” Guess that doesn’t apply during spring break week for the Governor.
She visited Davidson College Thursday on behalf of Obama proudly promoting Barack Obama’s platform, vision of retreat from the War on Terrorism, record increases of taxes on Americans, and record increases of spending. (Here)
Sebelius also visited Salisbury, North Carolina claiming the Bush Administration has been “the worst administration in history.” Ridiculous statements like this continue to divide the nation and embarrass the state. Her statements are divisive and ill conceived. You can read the article for yourself here. Rather then attending the 22nd annual Governor’s One-Shot Turkey Hunt starting today in El Dorado, she is still in North Carolina working hard for the most liberal Senator in the country. Next up, she will be attending the Masters Golf Tournament courtesy of tickets paid for by the Democratic Governor’s Association.
While we don’t begrudge anyone vacation time, it shouldn’t be done on the taxpayer’s dime.'
This is from the RIGHT wing extremests, but thought it was interesting since we are discussing Bush not taking care of things. Looks like Gubbenor She'llBillUs might be doing a bit more goofing off!!!!
