Sorry to disappoint you guys, but Sara Lee is same thing as Rainbo. Sara Lee owns Rainbo. At one time Betz Baking (Rainbo) was owned by Anheuser Busch. It seems like the quality and price have gotten worse since Sara Lee bought it.

Rainbo label is good bread, as far as quality. I prefer it to the Sara Lee label. However, Wonder bread tastes better to me, and is softer. You don't see much of it out here, as Walmart and Sara Lee try to keep it out of the area.

Some of the store brands are made by the big label companies too. However, they do not seem to keep as long, so I assume they are of poorer quality. Dillons has its own bakery in Hutchinson, but I have trouble keeping it very long too. If I can eat it up quickly, I usually buy store brands. However, if I have to throw it away because it molds, it seems less expensive to me to buy a better/higher priced label.

OK, now that I have gotten off of the "Bread Wagon", where in the hell were we?? SORRY!!!
