If it wasn't about OIL, (which it was), and it wasn't about WMD, (of which there were none), was it about installing "democracy"? If so surely the prime target should have been North Korea, after all here was a rogue hardline Communist state, still technically at war, which had a nuclear capability, and a repressive regime that was willing to sell its nuclear secrets to other potential rogue states & terrorist groups. Yet no attack or invasion - I wonder why? | There are many ways to take down powers....force is not the only option. In Iraq force was an option. North Korea is falling from the inside out...give it time.
