I think we'd all like to see lower gas prices. The only problem I see with suspending the gas tax is that is will come back after summer is over. Then we'll be hit with a big increase all at once. Not to mention that gas prices will continue to rise all summer long.

Today, oil hit a new high of over $114.00 per barrel. The oil industry mogels have been racking in the cash for some time now. I'm all for the free enterprise system, but something has got to give. These big tax breaks the the oil companies have been given seems to have outlived their usefullness. The industry says they need the tax breaks to continue to develop alternative energy sources and fuels. But I just don't see it happening. I think pockets are being lined at my expense. I know some big exe. testified at congressional hearings. Are they still wasting time and money?

I'm with Mac concerning our oil reserves...I mean what good are they if they are never used?
