Does anyone know why the DA did not seek the death penalty?

The whole "going home and dressing in black" thing... Seems to me like it was premeditated. Or at the very least, why he (the DA) didn't 'settle' for life in exchange for a guilty plea.

Anyone who describes a murder they perpatrated, EVEN under durress, is guilty. Seldom are we so lucky as to have a video tape of the crime. I know it is hard for you to accept and I would probably do the same thing you are doing if this was a friend/loved one of mine. Hopefully in time, you can come to accept what has happened, and the truth about Chris.
