Obviously you were at the trial. Obviously you feel strongly that the wrong decision was made by the jury. I suspect the accused will access his right to appeals. When that happens, please plead your case in front of a jury or judge. But it's pointless to try and convince this forum of his innocence. Very rarely does an innocent man confess to a crime...particularly a man who knows his rights very well. I can understand he was in a horrible mental state, but by his very training as a PO, he knew better than to confess.
