| [quote=banyon;69328]The evidence (in 55+ exhibits + testimony) Means:
Chris having Winchester rifle of consistent caliber that killed Erin. Chris having round saved in a Chinese puzzle box consistent with the murder bullet. Chris trying to explain it away that it was his "bullseye at the target range" (normal people would save the target). Police seeing rifle bolt in Chris's apartment and then it disappears when they come back (thus, making ballistics impossible as Chris would know). Chris throwing shoes that he had worn many times a week suddenly away (because there might be mineral samples on them).
The 270 rifle was means, however there was no bolt to that weapon.
The KBI in open court said that when they did the intial search that the bolt was present in the house and that they took pictures of it.
The bolt was found in a glock pistol box according to them.
After Chris was captured in Colorado they went back to the apartment to seize the 270 and the bolt. However, they claim the bolt was not there.
They have pictures of every weapon that Chris owned and pictures of the glock boxes. Yet somehow they don't have pictures of the bolt when they did the intial search. The reason given in court was that the mini-disc containing the missing pictures was damaged.
Pretty convient that the bolt pictures were lost don't you think.
What was found in the chinese puzzle box was a 270 spent casing.
How is that consistent to the bullet used? It was never proven that a 270 rifle was the weapon used.
Incidently, the target Chris used was saved.
The shoes, he supposedly walked through a field, an alley way, and hid in bushes. On a stormy night wouldn't those shoes be wet? Wouldn't those shoes be soiled? Wouldn't there be footprints all about the house?
After he supposedly throw the shoes away, if he had thrown them in the trash which contained, amonst other things, paper shreds, wouldn't the paper shreds have water markings on them when the shoes dried?
There was no evidence that linked him to the crime, this includes the shoes. They jumped on the shoes because they were in the trash and they could make it fit. No evidence to support it but they could make it fit. |
