| I don't believe the article stated that the job required them to be non-smokers/tobacco users. It just stated that they said they were non-smokers/tobacco users on their initial paperwork, then were later found to be smoking or chewing on company property. Again, they could have been telling the truth at the time they filled out the paperwork, then took up smoking or chewing at a later date. If there was nothing on the paper telling them they had to report any change of status I don't see how it is relevant.
