I am extremely familar with the track grounds and with the first race as of the practice date two weeks away, construction on the new office should have been far enough along that no one would have been in danger. The only way I'll buy that the stands should have been closed is if Mike Klein says it was a city decision. All ed would have had to do is have someone watch the area to keep people out. Actually it would have been a
PR coup if he had someone showing the new office off. But then they don't see it as our track.It is their stated goal to get the city out the loop in running the track. Just give us money and let us do our thing.
