There are certain areas of KC where you don't generally drive if you value your life. And if you HAVE to drive through, you do so with eyes straight ahead. And hope to hell you don't hit a red light. It's generally a degradation of the respect for the value of a human life. I understand that in LA, there are certain parts of the city that would just be allowed to burn to the ground before the Fire Dept. would respond. It's a sad state of affairs.....
