| The wife and I went to Montana Mike's the other day and got 2 Porterhouse steaks. My wife told me she smelled the packing house. We thought it must be someone sitting near us. We never it all our steaks and take them home for another meal. When she put hers in the microwave it stunk up our kitchen with the smell of rendering.
We called Montana Mike's and told them and they offered us free steaks, but we told them we didn't want more steaks we just wanted them to be aware something wasn't right with the steak.
We didn't get sick or anything, but what would make a steak smell like rendering? We've eat there many times and always get the same steaks and have never had this problem before.
