| From what I heard Obama chose this church for a good reason. Politics. He felt he had no connection with the "black sector" and Rev. Wright was his ticket to make himself more appealing to blacks. While many will not admit it, what Rev. Wright represents is how many American blacks feel about their place in society. Obama's roots didn't follow the average black mans, and he knew he Rev. Wright's church would give him the acceptance he was looking for.
I'm with you JW. I just get a gut feeling that Obama is much better at playing voters than most want to believe.
