Army has no idea about reality... He has lived in his little bubble since he was 18 and he is easing into his 40's.
He wouldn't know inflation if it was a woman and sat on his face. He has nil experience in living with the possibility of being laid off from his job, being unemployed, losing his health insurance, having a mortgage, cutting coupons, on and on and on...you know ....the things that real folks do. He will always have income, he will always have health care and can retire now if he so chooses. If he did retire he is young enough to retire again from another job.
Mind you there is absolutely nothing wrong with that at all. I loved the life but I didn't know what was in the real world until I became a "civilian". It a great life, I miss it alot. WHAT A RUDE AWAKENING I stepped into...
Problem with Army is he likes to influence and council others about things he has no experience in. That don't make him a bad guy.....it just means he is ignorant of the WAY THINGS REALLY ARE.
I actually am thankful for his dedication to duty, and his beliefs as he knows it. I have only admiration for him, I take issue with the rhetoric and judgment of someone "OUT OF TOUCH"
So Bink....Just consider the source and enjoy his posts as I do because he is in reality denial and he cannot help it. |
