1st of all...Army DOES have a bit of an idea about reality. I grew up with both parents working, dad a union welder who suffered lay offs during certain periods of time when work was slow. My parents didn't take the gov't handouts so there were time's when we didn't have everything we wanted. I couldn't get any grants for school so I joined the Army.

1st of all I'm where I am not (wherever that is)
because fo clipping coupons, saving a buck or two here and there, not wasting my money on lottery tickets, booze and cigs...(no offense weeze) I have a somewhat secure job because I CHOSE to do what I do now. The job is always open and a lot of people choose not to do it or are not qualified because of bad choices that dq's them. You CAN get fired from the military. A LOT of people do because like some in your "real world" they make bad choices. It's too bad I'm not doing what "real folks" do. This last week I worked an average of 15 hours a day...what did you do?
