Jake and his cronies lived for some time around Hoisington Kansas and was well known by my father in law and others around there as bad men. Funny thing about that was my wifes uncle was traveling in colorado around kit carson about the time of the robbery and were stopped and their car searched for Jake Fleagle, etc. And was funny as her uncle did know Jake somewhat. They could not believe it as before he was mainly petty theif etc. Always a big story at christmas.
