| Million dollar contracts aside, here is why Daunte is best; You'll have superstars on both sides of the ball, they'll come and go just like they have for the Chiefs and every other team in the league, but a "special teams" threat such as Hall that hasn't been equaled since Deion Sanders wore a cowboys uniform is rare, a once in a life time. The bottom line is, If I'm on the kicking side of "special teams" the one player out of 31 other "return men" I'm not looking forward to stopping is Daunte. If you're a NFL fan, it doesn't matter if you are for the Chiefs or for the team they're playing. When Hall touches the ball, you stop breathing and you are no longer relaxing in the recliner. How many players on T.V. can have this effect? Barry Sanders was the best at it. I once forced myself into a mild heart-attack watching him one Monday in September, 10 years ago. Anyway... if not Hall, then who?
