Animal cruelty was killing ants with a magnifying glass, or putting gas down their ant hole, or blowing the ant hill up with firecrackers.
Playing Army with cheap, plastic armymen for hours.
Not knowing what "smack", "crank", "mary j" or any other slang terms for drugs were because we didn't even know they existed.
Being totally shellshocked when our parents told us where babies REALLY came from.
