When does a vehicle left on your property become abandon?
Yesterday I came home to find a motorcycle parked at my garage door. It has no tag and at first I figured it was stolen. I called the police who promptly came out and ran the VIN. I was not listed as stolen and since it was on private property, mine, they cannot tow it. They said I could have it towed, but I may need to pay to have it towed.
It's blocking my garage entrance and since it's locked up I can't move it. I want to know whats the process and how long before it is considered abandon? How about a storage fee?
