| My house was infested with fleas one time. The stuff you put on the cat takes awhile to work. It kills the fleas after they feed, but it has to work it's way into the system.
Bombing the house also takes awhile. The eggs are in the carpet and they have to hatch first. Movement triggers them (vibrations in the floor) then they hatch. The residual poison from the bombs then kills them. Try using a flea powder on the floors then vacuum. Treat the cat but keep it inside for a few days then use garlic powder on it's food (this keeps them from getting fleas and worms) during the summer.
