In my teens, I thought I was an ugly duckling because I was so tall and skinny. Then I was married for 100 years. I thought he had to tell me I was beautiful. Then after we divorced, I found out there was ugly beautiful, ugly ugly and just plain beautiful. I think gettin' to just plain beautiful takes a little work, a lot of patience and a whole bunch of growin' pain!

Men are about the same, the way I see it. There's ugly, ugly (there's one of those on the other board), ugly beautiful and just plain beautiful. 'Course, ya have to be at least 45 or 50 to hit just plain beautiful, cuz it's life that makes ya that way!

It still never hurts to be drop-dead gorgeous sometimes, though!!!

Truer words were never spoken. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. Some look at themselves and think they are ugly others look at themselves and think they're beautiful. Who's to say who's right and who's wrong. Although there are some that are just butt ugly in everyones eyes. And not just on the outside.
