Normally I'm a big fan of Japanese cars (I drive 2), but the Tundra has had some issues. There have been several pretty major recalls and documented problems. However all that being said, it is still a very good truck. If you don't mind a bit smaller of a truck, it is very tough to beat the Toyota Tacoma. Reliable, good quality, good power, and better mileage than a fullsize.
