| The water sports ground is a "private" entity - they should hire thier own security for the safety of thier members. If I had to pay the $$ every year I would be ticked if I chose to go down there for New Years and had to dodge bullets........... The city is another matter. By the time a cop gets there - even on a hot run the shootins over - if you didn't "see" them shoot the charges will never stick and you will be wastin your time. Better off trying to keep folks from "beatin" each other to death at the bars......... and lookin for DUI's
