| I agree that a "spanking" is not bad, but there is a huge difference between spanking and beating. My children do get a swat if they are acting up, but only 1. Also the only thing used is a hand, I don't believe in using anything more than that. They don't get them often, but sometimes the "look" or the constant "no" doesn't work, so I have to use alternative methods. My husband can give the "look" and they immediately stop whatever it was they were doing, but I guess after 6 years I still haven't mastered the "look"! lol I have also given them a swat in the middle of the store or wherever we are, if they're acting up and there's no where close to take them to, but I've only had to do that once, they know now that if they pull something like that, they'll be going home and spending the rest of the day on their bed! |
