Anyhoo, the Rev. Pat Robertson is,, er
was wanting to eulogize himself in the name of God by helping build a Christian heritage center on the banks of Israel's Sea of Galilee. Nobody's quite figgered out where the $50 million will come from to build it.
(Note to Dodge City's money spenders: We can't afford to pay for it.) But, it appears like it might not happen now. Seems as though mouthy Preecher Pat got in trouble for suggesting that
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine punishment for Israel's pullout from the Gaza Strip. Quote:

In response to Robertson's initial remarks, Israeli Tourism Minister Avraham Hirschson said on Wednesday that Robertson would not be involved in a planned Christian Heritage Center on the shore of the biblical Sea of Galilee in Israel.
