OK Ron, what's your point?

News' left wing agenda won't fly in heartland

I have noticed in the past several months the multi-colored fliers stuffed inside The Hutchinson News advertising low subscription rates. In an effort to help with your sagging subscriber numbers I thought I'd surrender this modest list of helpful hints.

You could start with printing the whole truth. Your coverage of the State Board of Education and its zest to properly inform our children on the origins of life were misleading to say the least. The character bludgeoning Connie Morris endured at the hands of your paper was a glistening example of ultra left-wing journalistic slop. The only thing evolving these days is the truth.

The News always bashes readers over the head by relentlessly pushing for safe travel of toddlers. It must be a byproduct of your concern for the little rug rats. Why does The News never inform its readers of all those unfortunate little ones who never get a chance to read your biased, pathetic rag of a paper? Perhaps you could enlighten readers about the Roe v. Wade anniversary. Why is a surgical procedure with the potential to kill the mom regulated less than a tattoo parlor? People everywhere await your attempt at an honest article.

Say something, anything, positive about the honorable war in Iraq and the honorable soldiers fighting for your right to print distorted, left-wing hogwash. America-loving subscribers would be both shocked and grateful.

Really, you ought to drop the Associated Press service. Its name has become a synonym for treason.

How about a nice little piece on why it's not Christmas in Hutchinson USD 308 anymore but the winter holiday season? I went to watch my daughter play in the Hutchinson Middle School-8 Winter Holiday band concert and not Christmas concert. Oh, pardon me, I'm sure the mention of Christmas has The News' editors jabbing sharp objects into their ears.

This is the heartland, your left-wing agenda does not fly here where folks actually think for themselves and love this God-given country. I'm sure Castro, Howard Dean, Osama and that senator from Massachusetts would like to pin a medal on your collective chest for your anti-American, anti-Christian and anti-common sense outlook on the world. Many are more than tired and nauseous of the journalistic sludge you all-knowing people pump out every day. This is no doubt the reason for slow newspaper sales the nation over.

Try a different approach. Your current way of reconstructing the truth stinks.

Enough said....
