| Gunmen rob post office Check it out - from the Kansas City Star, 1-18-06
"A man who acted as if he had a gun cut in front of a line of customers and robbed a Kansas City post office this morning. No one was hurt.
Police gave this account: The heist occurred about 9:13 a.m. at 3231 Prospect Avenue. A man wearing a black ski mask and blue hooded jacket walked up to the counter. Keeping his right hand in his pocket, he pointed something from inside the pocket at two clerks. The man demanded cash and threatened to “pop” the clerks if they didn’t comply. His threats made the clerks too nervous to open the cash register. The robber jumped over the counter, and the customers ran. The clerks eventually gave the robber two envelopes containing cash. He fled."
Correct me if I'm wrong.........isn't that a federal offense? KC is beginning to scare me! There's a bank robbery a week and the FBI is now offering a $5,000 reward for info on the bank robberies. These thugs can't be getting enough money from their heists to make it worth their while to spend the better part of the rest of their lives in prison, can they? Especially not from a post office.
Guess they just weren't thinkin'. My momma taught me better, I guess.
