One of the bad parts of a new tax is that it will be passed down to us but not at 1/2 percent but more like 4 or 5 % (markup you know).
Large corps never ever pay taxes, we the consumer pay taxes. I know some will say "Well I own a company here and I do pay taxes!" Ok sure you do by raising the price on your product or service. Other wise you will not be in the business of business for long.
