| Hey, Bubba - if I really wanted the item back, I'd have probably bought it back just to make sure I got it. Then submit all the paperwork I had and the paperwork from the 'sale' and make sure either A. I got my money back - all of it, or B. the pawn shop owner was out of business. But I don't think I'd wait till the cops finally figured out it was wrong to fence stolen goods. Ya might never get it back at that point.
Now, when you DO get it back, make sure you have adequate insurance for it. And if it's stolen again, submit the theft to the insurance company. Then you can go buy a new one and screw the pawn shop. Or let somebody else do it.
