Am I the only one that thinks that assumptions were made regarding "those people", in refrence to the letter in the paper . I believe the Board member jumped to conclusions about that statement without listening to the entire statement BECAUSE race obviously is her number 1 priority. I believe Mr. Gerber Sr. made a very good point regarding shift schools for shift workers.
People are so quick to blame " bad kids" on their parents, and the fact that they arent at home for them because they are working. Here someone has a suggestion to help those families NO MATTER what race they are, and people STILL have to use race against them.
WAY TO GO LANCE GERBER for clearing things up.
SHAME ON YOU Board of Education for allowing a board member to get away with using race as an issue when all anybody wants is to make sure the kids are taken care of.
