| I'm not positive but I think the projection lamp is supposed to be good for around 2000 hours of use. Just so you know. So, with LCD fast moving images tend to be blurry, I don't think that would be good for gaming. Plasma TV's are prone to "burn-in" or "ghosting." When a plasma goes bad, you throw it away, I don't think that is very economical. A projector, while the lamp isn't expected to last forever, at $300 or so and it makes it just like new.
To me, I think I would lean toward a HD front projector.
