| Maybe lose the arcade games all together since they were all sold anyway and are no longer there. Maybe it would be better to set up a network where people could bring their own gaming computers to set up and play in tournements with each other. Not sure what games are popular now but games like Call to Duty, or Warcraft type games. Maybe get Cox to donate an internet connection for the city to hook the network up to play games and/or tournements with people out of the area.

| That's a pretty good idea Bubba - Gamers Convention - They will need a place they won't be disturbed by the birthday party goin on at the next table. Oh yeah - I took my grandkids there probably 4 or 5 years ago - It was the summer before I left Dodge - Lets see I think I been gone 3 years..... so maybe yep............. 4 or 5 years.......... It was in full swing, it was a glorious summer night (like ya'll have) and I was still think it lacked imagination, adults, and entertainment. The kids loved the go karts but the track was small - Yes I rode the kart - it was boring.......... I'm not saying it's impossible to make it work, I don't know maybe folks who have never had a grand prix track to play on don't care - I just know it was a let down for me as far as a "fun plex" goes. Ya gotta remember it's the parents footin the bill to get in - not the kids - the parents need to feel thier kids are safe - hard to feel that when the only adult there had his ass planted behind the booth watchin TV............... and the bangers I saw and spoke of were customers.......... rowdy customers with plenty of kid employees that seemed to be pretty mesmerised by the behavior of the rowdy customers.

| i worked there the second summer it was open...so maybe it wasnt me playin grabass..that was my specialty though...but hey we're kids, but when it was customer time, it was customer time. i had a good time working there. Employees were cool and what not but there are always the oddballs. I don't think we were way over staffed when i worked there. One person in the kitchen, one at the main counter and one or two at the karts. There were slow days and really busy days. All 4 Fun pulled in some high paying events though...National and Excel both had employee fun days there, drew in some cash. Minneola bussed their kids to the place for a After Prom party, dodge had an after prom party there. Had some battle of the band events. Batting cages and a driving range would be cool, especially since the one on the way to Wilroads closed however long ago.

| Go for it I think Dodge should go for it. Not only did people in Dodge come to so did people from out of town. Which you know what that means they spend money in other places around town too. I know the one in GC didn't make it. Not for sure what is going on with it. But All 4 Fun could be not a bad place, just need to come up with some better ideas. I know, it will take some money to make money. But Dodge needs something, GC is getting it all (HOME DEPOT), why is Dodge missing out on things?????? |

| Historically Dodge does miss out. I don't know what it is but I have heard that the city makes the potential businessess jump thru so many hoops and they postpone so much that often business go elsewhere - where they are welcomed and the new business process is expidited cause the town is happy to have them. Not everything goes to Garden - some things head to Liberal, Great Bend, a host of other inhabited places in Ks. I guess Dodge gets what they want.
