But it isn't okay for me to take it personal when somebody starts to trash talk a friend of mine, and I come to their defense???

You are right, it is a friggen forum, maybe you should put some thought into a simple post and not post things about people that you don't know.

Capt. K, I know Jack, Glatha, Mark, Denny, and the whole Klan very well. Did I say anything about not liking them?? All I said was that the construction had gotten some sort of help from the City!! Same with TexKan, she was just talking about how the City doesn't use their heads for any business decisions around town. In fact, it's a bunch of crap that the big businesses (ie-packing plants) get all the tax breaks, etc, when they are the ones causing the strain on the entire population and infrastructure of the area!! Everybody is too bitchy lately, we need to have a "kegger"!!

Can't sleep. Been workin' hard on a very large account in North Dakota. I have the order for about half of it, the other half is gonna be kickin' and scratchin' the whole way. The best of it is, I don't get the credit for it - it goes to the newbie on my team. That's OK, I get 10% of his bonus money anyway. It's the thrill of the hunt. And it's a lesson the newbie won't forget - specially when he gets that bonus check! Just wish I could sleep!

I have had this "sleeping" problem ever since College. Between School, Work, and Family, I never slept much! Fortunately, I get alot of work done in the early am, before the phones start ringing!!

It's the sh!ts to get old.....doc has asked me for a couple of years when I'm in for my "annual" if I have troubles sleeping. Always before said no - cuz I could fall asleep at the drop of a hat. Now, not so much.

I've had more sleep studies than the 7 Dwarfs!! They always got some excuse why I don't sleep. I told them, hell that was the way I got broken in, as I had to pay my own way thru college, plus support a family. Really, it's alot simpler now. When you get tired, you sleep! No-brainer! I better get busy Muff, or I won't get anything done. Go count some sheep!!

I've done a sleep study, at the hospital here. Do you think they planned on having the sleep study room on a noisy floor in a noisy corner of the hospital just so you can't sleep?
