I drove on the new side of Wyatt Earp last night after I got off work, and it was alottttttttt more comforting!! I was getting pretty agitated w/ all the potholes on the other side, should've sent the city a bill to get my alignment etc. fixed!! Can't wait till it's all done. Seems everyone is confused as to what to do on the intersection of 1st and Wyatt Earp. lol Kinda funny watching people start edging out and realise it's no longer a 4 way stop and go, but that the lights are actually working now. Guess we'll see how many wrecks there'll be due to the lack of people paying attention.

np. yeah I wasn't for sure whether to chance it or not because there was a cop on the other side of that intersection lol I don't really enjoy tickets and not sure if he'd accept the reason of "well it used to be a 4 way" even though the red light was solid and not blinking

2007- DOBSON BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION CO. IS SUPPOSE TO HAVE ALL OF WYATT EARP BLVD. FINISHED.

I don't think that will happen. At their present rate of speed, maybe August 10th?, September 10th?

I have noticed that we are not getting any regular newspaper updates on this project. I also noticed, no notice, of the fact that nothing got done on Earp from July 4-8. Dobson was gone again.

Anyone have any updates on what is happening on this project?

People are allowed holidays at most places of employment. They have been working many Saturdays and Sunday's. The 1.5" of rain on Sunday night/Monday morning slowed things down a little bit. Things are moving along as planned.

Sunny Beach, how quickly you forget. Dobson Brothers tore up Wyatt Earp last June and let it sit that way for over 10 months with very little being done between June, 2006 and March 2007.

I have to take my son over to Garden City to the doctors there and I have noticed that Dobson Brothers has Fulton Street all torn up just like they did our Wyatt Earp Blvd. I believe that has been that way now for 2 months or longer. No people working there.

You ask me, I think tearing things up, leaving them that way is standard operating procedure for Dobson Brothers. Somehow they get paid for it and they don’t care about not getting the pavement back in a timely manner.

Look out Garden City. Dodge City should be looking to collect any and all penalties for not finishing on Wyatt Earp on time. This was not bad weather; it was just not being on the job to do the job.

What difference does it make if it's 8/10/07 or 9/10/07? Since you said only they were supposed to be finished in 2007, both of those dates happen before 12/31/2007.
