Dobson Brothers, I am Sick of them I am sick of the potholes on Wyatt Earp. I am sick of having to take Spruce Street or Trail St. I am sick of the traffic tie ups at 14th and Wyatt Earp. I am sick of the traffic barrels all over the place I am sick of the slow pace of Dobson Brothers on this project. I am sick of visiting friends making fun of our main road remarking on how dirty and what poor housekeeping is in effect. I am sick of Dobson Brothers. I am just mad, mad, mad. Mostly I am just mad that they let the project sit all through September to January. Can anyone tell me when this damn project is suppose to be completed? When will this misery end? There must be a completion date.

Welcome to Dodge City. I wonder why Excel pays their drivers to go north around the bypass, but National Beef will not pay extra to their drivers. If all traffic was stopped, the project could be finished on time. Remember all waterlines that were replaced at the start was the City's doing. It took forever. Also Mr. Finley did not want to accept the rock base under the concrete. Some of the problems are the CITY'S.

From the Globe.... Wyatt Earp Blvd. reconstruction to begin Thursday The Wyatt Earp Boulevard reconstruction project has been awarded to Dobson Brothers Construction Co. They will have until June 24, 2007 to complete the project.... The project will be done in phases, to insure businesses along Wyatt Earp Boulevard will have at least one drive open at all times. Please be aware of the construction zone and obey all signs and barricades. With your cooperation, the contractor should move through the project quickly. ========================= I like the part about "the contractor should move through the project quickly." That is only 86 days from now to be finished and back to wherever Dobson came from.

No, Dobson Brothers must have both sides of Wyatt Earp Blvd. from 2nd Street to 14th Street, done, finished and open to traffic by June 24th, 2007 Phase 2 is from 14th Street to Matt Down Road and has not been let yet. "Also Mr. Finley did not want to accept the rock base under the concrete. Some of the problems are the CITY'S." The city wanted some sort of cement treaded base and that was in the bid plans. Dobson Brothers is the one that wanted the rock base that is being installed.
