| I think a big old barn would give the right ambience for an old west border town.

Personally, as a person who practices the "live within your means" in my own household, I would welcome the idea of a scaled down version of the project. We aren't Denver, we don't have the revenue to build some 40 million dollar events center. The mill levy is already tapped and the sales taxes are too. Give the taxpayer a break!!

| Does anyone ever think about how much property tax we pay. I was looking at mine last week and pay over 200 a month for property tax. How much is enough!!! By the way the lot with house is only 150'x75' The time is coming, might have to move out of ford just to be able to pay property tax alone. We need the gambling to support our town!!!!!!!!!! Taxed out!!!

| Careful - I know valuation has a lot to do with $$ of property tax. But our lot isn't even 150 x 50 and our house is normal 4 bdrm, 3 bath, 2-car garage. Our taxes are twice that - just under $5000 ann. So it could be worse.....
